TPG (Tripropylene Glycol, CAS 24800-44-0)
TPG is a co-product in the production process of monopropylene glycol. It is used for chemical intermediate and solvent with a variety of applications.
Chromic Acid (H2CrO4, CAS 7738-94-5)
Chromic acid is an intermediate in chromium plating, and is also used in ceramic glazes, and colored glass. Because a solution of chromic acid in sulfuric acid (also known as a sulfochromic mixture or chromosulfuric acid) is a powerful oxidizing agent, it can be used to clean laboratory glassware, particularly of otherwise insoluble organic residues. This application has declined due to environmental concerns.[5] Furthermore the acid leaves trace amounts of paramagnetic chromic ions — Cr(III) — that can interfere with certain applications, such as NMR spectroscopy. This is especially the case for NMR tubes.[6]
Chromic acid was widely used in the instrument repair industry, due to its ability to “brighten” raw brass. A chromic acid dip leaves behind a bright yellow patina on the brass. Due to growing health and environmental concerns, many have discontinued use of this chemical in their repair shops.

Chromite sand (Iron Chrominium Oxide, FeCr2O4)
Description/Application
It is an oxide mineral belonging to the spinel group. Magnesium can substitute for iron in variable amounts as it forms a solid solution with magnesiochromite (MgCr2O4);[5] substitution of aluminium occurs leading to hercynite (FeAl2O4).[6]
It is an industrially important mineral for the production of metallic chromium, used as an alloying ingredient in stainless and tool steels. Its properties enable the material to be used in high duty grey iron and steel foundries as core and mould making sand. Its high thermal conductivity gives it good chilling properties, low thermal expansion gives rise to good dimensional stability. Its basicity being close to neutral allows the use of a wide range of resin bonding systems and inorganic binders, it has a high refractoriness and a broad sieve distribution.
In steel production, Chromite Sand is used as well filler for protection of the sliding gate in large steel holding ladles.
When ground to a fine flour, Chromite Sand is used for the production of green glass beverage containers Its properties enable the material to be used in high duty grey iron and steel foundries as core and mould making sand. Its high thermal conductivity gives it good chilling properties, low thermal expansion gives rise to good dimensional stability. Its basicity being close to neutral allows the use of a wide range of resin bonding systems and inorganic binders, it has a high refractoriness and a broad sieve distribution.

TIB-TDM
(TIB-Tertiary dodecyl mercaptan)
Description/Application
TIB-Tertiary dodecyl mercaptan. Polymerization modifier in emulsion polymerization systems. The mercaptan functions as a chain transfer agent, controlling the molecular weight of the polymer, to give the desired properties. It is primarily used in the manufacture of acrylic polymers and neoprene. Tertiary dodecyl mercaptan can be readily oxidized to the corresponding disulfide, which may be used as a thermal stabilizer for acrylic polymers. The product can be used as a feedstock for the production of polysulfides of the form C12H25-Sx-C12H25, which are widely used as extreme pressure additives for lubricating and cutting oils, where X is commonly 3 or 5. Ethoxylates of tertiary dodecyl mercaptan of the form t-C12H25S-(CH2CH2O)x-H are outstanding wetting agents and surfactants. They may be used as detergents for metal cleaning, household and industrial cleaners and degreasers and as emulsifiers for agrochemical formulations.
